Position Summary
The Business Improvement & Efficiency Officer is responsible for assessing business processes, identifying areas of improvement, and assisting in their implementation while ensuring standardization and overall business performance enhancement.
Responsibility Description
Business Process Management
- Map, review, and redesign business processes while ensuring alignment with ISO standards.
- Identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Conduct data analysis to support process evaluations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business processes.
Strategy & Performance Support
- Assist in developing departmental KPIs aligned with company strategy.
- Prepare periodic reports to support management decision-making.
- Assess in documentation of strategy meetings to ensure alignment across departments.
Liaisons with Other Business Units
- Collaborate with Operations, Commercial, and support functions.
- Act as a point of contact for BIE-related queries, guidance, and training within departments.
- Ensure departments are aware of process improvements and best practices resulting from BIE support.

QHSE Management
- Oversee implementation and maintenance of QHSE management systems (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001).
- Responsible for process and ISO audits to ensure compliance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Act as liaison with external certification bodies and auditors.
- Provide expert advice to management and departments on QHSE compliance, risks, and improvements.
- Lead awareness campaigns, training sessions, and engagement initiatives to foster a strong QHSE and continuous improvement culture.
- Plan and coordinate internal and ISO audits, track QHSE KPIs and objectives, and report performance and improvement actions to CEO/Top Management.
- Ensure continuous improvement of the QHSE management system in line with ISO requirements.
Reporting & Insights
- Provide management with clear, actionable insights on process performance, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
- Monitor the progress of improvement initiatives and highlight risks or issues that need attention.
- Maintain proper documentation of BIE activities, process changes, and analysis to ensure ISO compliance.

Self-Development
- Strives to achieve the highest levels of proficiency in all the competencies and skills required to perform the role.
- Identifies the training and development requirements for self and agrees with the manager to ensure that the required training courses are arranged and attended.
- Sets the performance goals in the beginning of the year after discussion with the manager and ensures that the goals are achieved during the course of the year
MIS and Reports
- Prepare timely and accurate MIS statements and reports as required.

- Provides feedback regularly on the effectiveness and soundness of policies and procedures of Customer Support.
- Ensures that policies and processes fulfil all procedural/legislative requirements while delivering a quality, cost-effective service.
- Understand and embrace the corporate information security framework and perform duties according to the policy, procedures, standards, and guidelines.
Quality Management and Continuous Improvement
- Ensures compliance with all relevant quality management procedures and controls to guarantee compliance and delivery of high-quality service.
- Stimulates and contributes to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices considering best practices, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.
Academic/ Vocational Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any related field
- Preferably with an Internal Auditor Certificate: ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management Systems), ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management Systems) & ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems)
Work Experience
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar environment
